ABOUT ME
I’m Tony Quinn
The Big Guy with a Monumental Voice
I'm T. Anthony Quinn, known as Tony, a recovery attorney, voice artist, and actor based in Washington, DC. With a commanding presence that matches my impressive height of 6'7", I've carved out a niche in the performing arts, blending my legal expertise with a passion for storytelling. My journey from the stage to the courtroom and then to the studio is direct evidence of my versatility.
Born in New York and raised in Florida and New England, my affinity for performance was evident from a young age. I pursued my passion for the arts at The Choate School and at Amherst College, where I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English, focusing on theater and film. I honed my acting skills at Vermont's Weston Playhouse, preparing me for a life in court and in the spotlight.
As roles for an extremely tall character actor were scarce, I ventured into law, earning my Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. While I excelled in the legal field, prosecuting environmental and criminal cases for 30+ years with the Department of Justice, I never strayed far from my theatrical roots. I became a company member of the Atlanta Shakespeare Company and later the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, seamlessly blending my legal career with my love for performance. My ability to embody a variety of characters—from cops to congressmen—showcases my range as an actor.
Beyond my professional achievements, I'm known for my collaborative spirit and my ability to connect with others. I believe that storytelling is a shared experience, and I thrive on working with fellow creatives to bring visions to life. My engaging personality and sense of humor make me a sought-after partner in the industry.
As I continue to explore new projects, I remain dedicated to my craft, using my voice to keep stories alive and to resonate with audiences. For more information about me and my work, please visit www.TAnthonyQuinn.com.
